The festivities of Old Town in Xanthi are one of the most important institutions of the city. They started in 1991. The aim is to promote the history, culture, manners and customs of the region.
The events take place every year in the first days of September in the Old Town in Xanthi and include concerts and many cultural events such as exhibitions, theatrical performances etc.
