Lilac 

The lilac (lat. Syringa vulgaris L.) is a deciduous shrub or small tree with characteristic purple aromatic flowers. It reaches a height of 15 meters. Lilac blooms in spring. The fruit and bark of the trunk or root are used for therapeutic purposes.

Along with other wildflowers such as the haberlea, Paeonia peregrina, and the buckthorn of Rodopi, it is in the group of rare plants that the visitor can see even today in the aesthetic forest of the river Nestos.
