Artemis Bendis

Statue of the goddess Artemis Bendis, preserved in good condition, only the two legs and lower arms are missing. She wears a Phrygian pilos (cap), a short chitoniskos with long-sleeves, a peplos (women’s woolen cloak) buttoned at the shoulder and a nebris (fawn skin) tied in her waist. Traces of red paint are preserved on her hair.
