Attic red-figured pyxis fragment. On the left, sitting Musaeus plays with an harp; on the right, the god Apollo stands holding a laurel branch. The Muses Calliope, Urania, Polymnia, Sophia and Terpsichore are depicted on two levels, while on the right Thamyris plays the guitar. The figures are identified by inscriptions.
