This fragmentary gilded silver diadem features several mythical scenes. Orestes is depicted in the center, standing over the body of the killed Aegisthus and ready to assassinate his mother, Klytaimnestra. He is fully equipped. He holds a sword in his right hand, tending it towards his mother, who is vainly trying to defend herself. The conflict between Zeus and Typhon is shown on the left, along with a running Gorgon. On the right, a second Gorgon is running, Perseus decapitates Medusa with the help of the goddess Athena, and Theseus is slaying the Minotaur.
