Dionysus in frenzy 

On the main side of the stamnos, god Dionysus is depicted dancing in frenzy, brandiscing a slain fawn. He has long beard and hair. He wears a woollen chiton tied in his waist, a panther's skin knotted around his neck, endromides (soft boots) and ivy wreath
