Man and nature in Evros
The Natural History Museum of Alexandroupolis is housed in the Platanotopos at Maistros. In its premises are exhibited various species of birds, fish and animals that live there. Audiovisual material, touch screens and short films present the biodiversity of the area and the main categories of ecosystems.
In the last room, human activity is presented. The harmonious coexistence of man with nature in the past in contrast to the invasive and destructive one of recent years.
