Village in the region of Drama,  near Aggitis river and Aggitis cave, and very close to Falakro Mount and Menoikio Mount. The name of the village means "the written one".

In the are, there used to be an ancient settlement. The church of the village, dedicated to the Birth of Mary, was built on the site of the old one. There is also a watermill next to a large old plane tree with a perimeter of 12 meters. The inhabitants work in agriculture, mainly, in the cultivation of tobacco.
