The central beach of the city of Alexandroupolis, also known as the beach of EOT, is located on the western side of the city. It is a wide, sandy beach; the sea waters are crystal clear. There are plenty of facilities offered on the beach (umbrellas, sunbeds, bars, and refreshments); sports activities infrastructure is also available. Access to the beach for people with disabilities is easy. The beach has been awarded a blue flag.
