Aspropotamos - also known as Travos - is a river of Thrace. The river is mentioned is the works of Herodotus as one of the significant rivers Thrace. Its springs are located in the Rodopi Mountains, on Mount Papikio, while it flows into Lake Vistonida. It has a length of 30 kilometers.
