Drama railway station 

The Drama Railway Station was inaugurated in 1896 and is located in the settlement of the same name, at 109 Ethnikis Amynis Street. It belongs to the Thessaloniki-Alexandroupolis line, which is the central railway artery of Northern Greece. It is located between the stations of Serres (towards Thessaloniki), Fotolivos (towards Athens), Paranesti (towards Dikaia) and Nikiforos (towards Alexandroupolis).

At Drama station there are more than 30 buildings, among which are the passenger station, the engine room, the water tower and various storage areas. The first buildings of the Drama station began to be constructed in 1894, while the rest were added at various times. Some of them have been designated as monuments by the Central Council of Newer Monuments.
