Twait shad 

The Twait shad (lat. Alosa fallax) is a species of freshwater oily fish similar to herring. It is a migratory fish, which travels up rivers in spring. It occurs in the outlets of the rivers Strymon, Nestos, and Evros and in the lakes of Thrace.

This shad is bony yet tasty.
