Village of Drama in which refugees from Eastern Thrace settled after the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922).
The custom of Klidonas has been practised in the village since 1924. According to it, unmarried girls find out who their future husband will be.
Every year on 26 July, Saint Paraskevi, the patron saint of the village, is celebrated in the square with a feast and traditional dances the day before.
