Prasinada 

Village in the region of Drama, at the foot of Pangalos Mount at an altitude of 713 meters. The inhabitants are Pontian refugees from Trabzon.

The village, whose name translates to "greenery", is surrounded by mountains with abundant vegetation and plenty of water. On the rock of Prasinada stands the Monastery of the Transfiguration of Christ, built on the ruins of a Byzantine monastery.
