Vatos is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Samothrace, with white sand and pebbles, under imposing rocks with caves on the south side of the island.
The visitor may enjoy a degree of privacy here since the beach is far from being crowded. As a matter of fact, it can be accessed either by sea, with an excursion boat from Therma, or alternatively, by a hard-to-cross canyon past the gorge of Vatos. However, the latter solution should be avoided by inexperienced hikers.
From the beach, the visitor has wonderful views of the impressive waterfall Kremasto Nero.
The beach has no amenities.
