It is in the administrative center of the old Muslim district of Drama. In fact, it is the Arab Mosque, built between 1850-1875. During the Bulgarian occupation, it was looted. After the liberation of the city, it hosted the Conservatory. Due to its architectural interest, it was listed as a protected monument in 1977.
Today, it is a cultural center. It has a rectangular shape with an octagonal dome. In the main building is the gallery that leads to the minaret. The interior is decorated with murals, many of which have been destroyed.
