Village on the highway that connects Pentalofos with Ormenio. It was named after the large quantity of stone in the area, which the inhabitants processed and traded as famous craftsmen. In the center of the village there is the statue of a stonecutter, in their honor.
An interesting sight is the renovated mill of Petrota that has been turned into a cultural and conference center. Recently, high quality zeolite deposits were discovered in the area.
