It was founded in 1980 by the Mountaineering Association of Drama and is one of the most important ski resorts in the country. It has 21 slopes with different levels of difficulty each, great snow quality and offers a large variety of snow sports. An important advantage of Falakro Mount is the long period of snow cover.

The Ski Center has three lifts, two aerial chairs and three children’s lifts, a snowmobile slope, three chalets, restaurants, ski sale and rental facilities and ski schools. It also has a doctor’s office and parking. It is open during the winter season, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the holidays.
