Thassian wedding is a Greek traditional wedding. It consists of a set of rituals with ancient origin. It is accompanied by music and dance. A representation of the Thassian wedding takes place every year at the end of June, in Theologos, Thassos.

According to the custom, the best man goes to get the groom and together they go to get the bride along with her dowry, which is loaded on horses and mules and is brought to the party. The musicians start playing followed by the bride and groom, relatives and guests. After going through the whole village, they end up in Panagouda. Treats are offered there, followed by a party until late at night.
