Picturesque mountain village of Thassos. It is divided into Small and Large Kazaviti, which are 1 km apart. Kazaviti means “the house of wine” (casa meaning house and vitus meaning wine). Its houses are made of stone and have wooden balconies and painted ceilings. The village has rich vegetation and is famous for its quality meat. Near the village is the monastery of Agios Panteleimon.
