Katafyto lake is a rather small-sized artificial lake in the Municipality of Nevrokopi, in the Regional Unit of Drama. It has been constructed to meet the irrigation needs of the adjacent area. It is located near the village of Katafyto and on the Greek-Bulgarian border. It is an important habitat, as it hosts rich flora and fauna.

The landscape around the lake forms an idyllic setting, featuring a small island located at the west and connected to the shores via a small bridge. Around the lake, wooden tables and benches form the infrastructure that allows the visitor to comfortably observe the species of birds that come to the lake to find food and shelter. From the shore of the lake, the pathway of 18 kilometers takes the visitor to the top Tsolias of Mount Orvilos.
