Petrousa is a spectacular gorge of about 10 kilometers within an impressive landscape in the regional unit of Drama. The entrance to the gorge is north of the village Pirgi and ends in Petroussa. Wildflowers, bushes, and trees grow on the slopes of the gorge, which is also a refuge for many species of fauna. 

The best season to cross it is when the weather is not rainy.
