Thraciaeque fines legimus et saevi proxima Diomedis radimus littora, quem suis immanibus equis advenas ad mandendum dare solitum accepimus.

Αφήνουμε πίσω τα σύνορα της Θράκης και περιδιαβαίνουμε τις κοντινές ακτές του σκληρού Διομήδη, ο οποίος, πληροφορηθήκαμε, ότι συνήθιζε να ταΐζει τα πελώρια άλογά του με ξένους ταξιδιώτες.

We sail by the boundaries of Thrace and skirt the nearby shores of cruel Diomedes who, we are told, used to feed strangers to his monstrous horses.
