Village in the regional unit of Drama, at the foot of Mount Falakro. Most of the inhabitants work in agriculture and livestock breeding. After the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922), refugees from Asia Minor, the Black Sea, Eastern Thrace and the Sarakatsani settled here. The most important attraction of the village is the church of Taxiarches of the 19th century.
