Seaside settlement of the regional unit of Kavala. It has a picturesque harbor and a sandy beach. Its main attraction is the church of Faneromeni.

Nearby, in Aetoplagia, lies the cave of the Nymphs., and opposite you can see Fidonisi and Arethousa islands.
