The Fotolivos Railway Station was inaugurated in 1896 and is located in the settlement of the same name. It belongs to the Thessaloniki-Alexandroupolis line, which is the central railway artery of Northern Greece. It is located between Lefkothea (direction Athens) and Drama (direction Alexandroupolis) stations.
Some parts of the station, such as the passenger station, began to be built in 1894, while the rest were added in later periods. Some of them have been designated as monuments by the Central Council of Newer Monuments.
