The fully Equipped climbing field of Simvola is located 20 km outside Komotini and boasts 35 different routes. The field is approached from the village of Strymi. The rugged terrain is mainly composed of limestone and is very suited to training, containing local passages and spanning vertically 30 meters. As the field’s orientation is southwards, it is advisable to climb early in the morning or late afternoon during summer and all day during the rest of the year.
