Nymfes lake is a freshwater lake in the Evros Delta, next to the borderline of Greece with Turkey. It is the easternmost lake of mainland Greece. A canal links the lake with the sea. The lake is formed due to the small altitude difference of the delta of the river Evros from the sea surface in combination with the large seasonal fluctuations in the flow of its waters. The result is that the area is flooded from Feres to the sea, between the two branches of the delta.
It is part of Natura 2000 network.
