Giouzlemedes 

Giouzlemedes is a traditional sweet pastry of Thracian cuisine. It is a dough baked on a hot plate.  Giouzlemedes are named after the Turkish word 'göz', which means 'eye', due to the small blisters that appear on the dough when the pies are fried. They are served hot, with honey or petimezi.
