According to Homer, Euphemus was the son of Troezen, leader of the lance-bearing Cicones and an ally of the Trojans in the Trojan War, where he was killed by Achilles or Ajax. Hr should not be confused with the Euphemus, son of Poseidon, who took part in the expedition of the Argonauts.
