Αἷμος, ὄρος Θράκης. Λέγεται καί οὐδετέρως, ὡς οἱ πολλοί. ἐγένετο δέ ὁ Αἷμος ὑιός Βορέου καί Ὠρειθυίας, ἀφ’ οὗ καί τό ὄρος.

Αίμος, βουνό της Θράκης. Χρησιμοποιείται και ως ουδέτερο, όπως πολλοί υποδεικνύουν. Ο Αίμος, από τον οποίο προέκυψε το βουνό, ήταν γιός του Βορέα και της Ωρείθυιας.

Haemus, mountain of Thrace. Also used in the neuter, as many people point out. Haemus, from whom the mountain took its name, was the son of Boreas and Oreithyia.
