Phyllis and Demophon

The representation depicts the romance between Phyllis, the daughter of the king of the Bisaltae Lycurgus (or Cissus), and Demophon, the son of Theseus. The two youths are sitting by a stream that is probably located in the Strymon area, close to Amphipolis.
