The four identical houses are also known as Michalogleika since they were built on behalf of Ioannis Michaloglou. The Northern Epirot tobacco merchant commissioned the construction of the housing complex in 1890 to house his children. The exterior is characterized by an eclectic style reminiscent of English town houses. The interiors of two of the houses have preserved painted decoration.
