The chapel of Agios Georgios was inaugurated in 2013. It is located in the place of an older small church that was destroyed by fire. According to the locals, during the population exchange of 1922, a refugee brought with her the marble icon of Agios Georgios Koudounas. It was a gift from her brother or relative who was vicar in a  monastery in Prigipos (Büyükada in Turkish), where the icon came from.
