It is located at a distance of 3 km from Kavala. The monastery celebrates on July 30. The church was built in 1937 and in 1946 it was converted into a monastery.

In its area, there is a marble plate, which marks the spot where the saints Paul, Silas, Timothy and Luke supposedly sat down to rest during their visit to Neapolis, according to local legends.
