Small settlement in an area of unique natural beauty, west of the city of Kavala on the coastal highway to Thessaloniki.

The waters of its springs are sodium chloride with hydrogen sulfide. They cure several diseases, even chronic ones. There is a physiotherapy center with 24-hour medical coverage, hostels and a restaurant.
