The ruins of a Byzantine castle and Christian churches are preserved on top of a rocky hill in the forest of Dadia. It may be the castle of Isgipera, built during the reign of Justinian to protect the Byzantine territories from invasions.
Access to the site is through the forest of Dadia following the red route of the National Park Forest of Dadia - Lefkimmi - Soufli. A prior consultation with the Management Body of the National Park is required.
