Tsepel Kagia Hill

Unusual carved rocks on the Tsepel Kagia hill

On the hill of Tsepel Kagia, also known as Mytero or Monastery Hill, there are seats and tables carved into the rocks. The absence of other buildings has led experts to conclude that it may have been a place of worship for the Thracian tribe of Kikones. The representation of constellations on a nearby rock seems to confirm the above hypothesis.
