Modern sculpture and a selfie spot

The modern red sculpture "ANATASIS DELTA" is located on the seaside of Alexandroupolis. It represents seven floating dancers and is the work of the sculptor Kostis Georgiou. Initially the sculpture was installed in the square of Faros but since the beginning of 2021 it was placed in the specific spot near Argo. Similar sculptures by the same artist can be found in the Municipality of Voula-Vouliagmeni-Varkiza in Attica and in a hotel in Ios island.

Next to the sculpture is the hashtag AXD which indicates the abbreviation of the name of Alexandroupolis. It is the selfie spot on the Alexandroupolis seafront.
