The Protopapa tobacco warehouse stopped in time

The four-story building housed the Michailidis Tobacco Warehouse. After the end of the Macedonian Struggle, in 1908, the "Winter Theatre of Drama" operated here. The tobacco factory continued to operate until 1955. Since then, the building has remained unused. Today it is known as the Protopapa tobacco warehouse and is a typical example of the tobacco warehouses of the region. For these reasons it has been classified by the Ministry of Culture as a listed monument.
