The artificial lake of Tychero is a reservoir that was created after the Dam of Lyra. It is located close to the village Tychero,  by the banks of Evros river, and close to the Forest of Dadia. The lake stands within a landscape of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by trees and vegetation.

Tourist facilities on the bank of the lake serve visitors without adversely affecting the environment and disturbing nature.
