In memory of those who sacrificed for the freedom of the homeland

The old Heroon is the work of the sculptor Petros Moschidis. It was carved in 1930 in honor of those who died in the battles for the liberation of the homeland.

On the two marble plaques are the names of the fallen in the Greek-Italian war of 1940-41.
