The burial mounds at Rigio
Near the settlement of Regio two underground built tombs were discovered in burial mounds. They dated to the 4th BC. century. One of the two tombs is more elaborate and consists of the dromos, the vestibule and the burial chamber.
Although the tombs were looted, the archeologists brought to light a gold sealing ring depicting the head of a bearded Dionysus. In both tombs the entrance consists of a threshold, pilasters and a lintel.
