Catholic church of St. Vincent, Paul of the Catholic church, in the center of Kavala, also known as the monastery of Lazaristes. It was built between 1888-1892 for the Catholics of the city. A school was built behind the monastery.
The founder of the Lazarist Order was St. Vincent whose statue is on the front of the building. The building combines Ottoman and Neoclassical architecture and has statues of saints and other religious figures. It also includes an attic which accommodates guests. Outside there is the statue of the Virgin of Rhodari. In 1916 the monastery was used as the French Consulate.
