Museum of Fort Lisse 

Awakening memories from the front

Fort Lisse belongs to the fortifications of the Metaxas line. The museum exhibits weapons and ammunition of various types from the World War ΙΙ. The uniforms of the officers who participated in the battle of the fort as well as the medals awarded to them.

The model and audiovisual material give a clear picture of the battle fought at the Fort between 6 and 10 April 1941. A monument to the fallen of the battle and an oversized statue of a Greek soldier have been erected on the exterior.
