At the Cultural House of the Sarakatsani Association of Thrace

The listed building at 23 Agios Georgios Street in Komotini houses the Sarakatsani Association of Thrace.

Apart from the administrative services, various cultural events such as periodic exhibitions, educational programs and traditional workshops are held here. On the first floor, the large hall is arranged in a hut interior and traditional objects of the everyday life of Sarakatsani are exhibited. This exhibition in combination with the Museum Traditional Settlement of Sarakatsani in Glykoneri gives a complete picture of the life of the Sarakatsani of Rodopi.
