The whiskered bat (Latin Myotis mystacinus) is a small European bat with long fur. It occurs in west and central Europe, the southern part of Scandinavia, the British Isles, Morocco, the northern regions of Eastern Europe, the western regions of the Caucasus, and the Urals. Its presence in southeastern Europe is possible - yet it is not confirmed.
In Greece, it has been reported in the regions of Evros and Drama - among other areas.
