Lesser mouse-eared myotis

The lesser mouse-eared myotis (Latin Myotis blythi) is a medium-sized bat with fairly large ears. It is native to Mediterranean countries and parts of Asia. It is probably one of the most common species of bats in Greece; it occurs on the mainland and on large islands such as Samothrace. It lives in colonies almost exclusively in underground shelters (caves, mines, etc.).
