Heracles fights with Diomedes

Black-figured oinochoe with a depiction of Heracles fighting against king Diomedes. Heracles is naked and holds his club, the lion skin, a bow and some arrows. He faces Diomedes who is also naked and raises a spear. The two men are in a fighting stance. Diomedes is depicted at a young age. Behind Heracles are the horses of Diomedes.
