Southern white-breasted hedgehog

The Southern white-breasted hedgehog (lat. Erinaceus concolor) is a type of hedgehog that is native to Eastern Europe and Southwestern Asia. It is very similar in lifestyle and appearance to the European hedgehog, yet the former has a white spot on its chest. The spines that cover its entire body are its most distinctive feature.

The Southern white-breasted hedgehog is a solitary, nocturnal omnivore.
